Expografismo: Getting to know our culture

In partnership with the Mato Grosso State Secretariat for Culture, Sport and Leisure - SECEL/MT, through the VIVER CULTURA - IDENTIDADES - EDIÇÃO LEI PAULO GUSTAVO public notice, the Amazonas Institute is launching a series of activities to strengthen and value indigenous culture, through the Expografismo: (Re) Conhecendo nossa cultura project 🎨✨

🌿 Workshops and exhibitions open to the public will be held, highlighting elements of the traditional and contemporary cultures of the Mebengokrê, Munduruku and Apiaká peoples. Activities include:

- Workshops on traditional graphics and marks;

- Production of handicrafts and canvases painted with traditional paints and materials;

- Cultural dialogues to promote knowledge and respect for diversity.

At the end of the project, we will have public exhibitions to present the works created during the workshops. Each piece will be accompanied by explanatory details, both printed and audio, to provide an educational and inclusive experience for visitors.
